Dorothy has over 40 years of experience working with clients, managing service expectation and external relationships across all business sectors, including the legal profession, local and central government, finance, utilities and debt-buyers. Dorothy supports the business in all areas of the regulated governance structure, policy, compliance, internal and external audit.
Dorothy first qualified as a Sheriff Officer in 1998 and has since become a prolific and highly respected expert within the profession. She has served on various Executive Councils of The Society of Messengers at Arms and Sheriff Officers (SMASO) since January 2000, including the post of Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President, Deputy President and serving as President for three years from 2008 – 2011. Dorothy currently holds the post of Treasurer for SMASO.
